YumiNex Smart Door Lock – Installation Policy & Procedure

We want every YumiNex customer to enjoy a perfect, hassle-free experience. Below is our clear installation policy and step-by-step procedure.

Installation Policy

• Free Professional Installation (Limited Offer) Free installation is available for selected areas in Dhaka (within city limits). Outside these areas, a nominal travel/service charge may apply (BDT 1000–1500 depending on location).

• Appointment Booking Installation must be booked in advance. Slots are subject to availability.

• Installation Timeframe

  • Dhaka: Usually within 1–3 business days

  • Other cities: 3–7 business days We will confirm the exact date/time within 24 hours of booking.

• What is Included in Installation

  • Professional fitting of the lock on your door

  • Testing of all functions (face/fingerprint/password/app)

  • App setup & pairing (Tuya app)

  • Quick user training (how to use & basic troubleshooting)

  • Handover of keys, cards, batteries, and warranty card

• What is NOT Included

  • Door modification/repair (if the door is not compatible or damaged)

  • Travel beyond 50 km from Dhaka/Chattogram city center

  • Installation on non-standard doors (e.g., sliding, glass, very thick metal doors >120 mm)

• Compatibility Check Before booking, please confirm your door type & thickness (40–120 mm). We install on:

  • Security doors

  • Wooden doors

  • Brass doors

  • Stainless steel doors If your door requires modification, we will inform you of extra charges (if any) before installation.

• Cancellation / Rescheduling Free cancellation/rescheduling up to 24 hours before the appointment. Less than 24 hours notice → 50% of travel/service charge may apply (if applicable).

• Warranty & Support Installation is covered under our 2-year warranty. Any issue related to installation will be resolved free of charge within the warranty period.
